Sonia Hudson, a Food Science junior from Davie, Florida, was presented with the 2008 FDPA Scholarship Award by Dr. Ron Schmidt, at the IFT Student Recognition Night, on March 27th at Oak Hammock in Gainesville, Florida. She is the daughter of Terrance and Ramonne Hudson of Davie, Florida. Ms. Hudson has also received the Gostas G. Lemonopoulos Scholarship, and was on the Dean's List at University of Florida during the spring of 2006. Ms. Hudson has an outstanding academic record and an impressive resume of activities and accomplishments, and a strong interest in dairy science.
